Bird Bands…jewelry for birds and humans!
This jewelry is made from aluminum alloy bird bands. Bird banding or bird ringing is the attachment of a small, individually numbered metal or plastic tag to the leg or wing of a wild bird to enable individual identification. This helps in keeping track of the movements of the bird and its life history. Now there is bird banding jewelry for humans!
Rolling in Paper Beads
LoCouture started with paper beads and the motto “recycle materials, not ideas.” Our paper beads are produced in series that have names, such as the Atlas Series (maps), Wearable Museum (art history textbooks), Sound of Music (sheet music), Asian Rappers (food wrappers), That’s Funny (comics), and Drawing Straws (paper straws). These handmade beads are sealed with a gloss finish and used in one-of-a-kind jewelry designs.

Who doesn’t love a funky ring?!? These rings have either a rubber or leather band, which are paired with all sorts of groovy beads and hardware.

MC by the Sea is a special line of jewelry made by a little old lady who lives by the sea…my mom! That’s right, she taught me everything I know about crafting and she makes some pretty funky stuff.
